The Flin Flon Heritage Project is pleased to offer the 2023 Edition of the Flin Flon calendar featuring the incredible photos of Flin Flon resident Randy Whitbread. Once again Randy has generously allowed us to sell his calendars as a fund raiser for the project.

The price has been set at $20 each.

Also, also available are packs of 12 note cards and envelopes printed with the same photos used on the calendar monthly pages. They are $11 per pack of 12 including envelopes.

Randy will be selling calendars (only) in Flin Flon. The Project will be handling all other sales plus note cards. We will be mailing them for an additional $2.50 per item (note card packs, $1.50). That price reflects a significant subsidy over the actual cost. Items picked up in person (eg: at the Winnipeg Flin Flon luncheon, etc) won’t have the shipping amount added.

For in person sales, payment by cash or personal cheque. For items mailed, Interac e-transfer is greatly preferred but you can mail a cheque or money order. Credit card payments are possible via PayPal but there will be a surcharge to offset the service fees charged to accept the payment.

Even if you don’t want a calendar for yourself (which I personally find odd!), please consider buying a few for gifts. They are always welcomed and very popular. Every sale helps us preserve the history of Flin Flon.

You may contact me via Facebook Messenger or send an email to me at ted_nelson@outlook.com.

Note: Calendar sales are very important to the project helps to pay for web hosting and associated costs of operating a web site. It is our major source of income and only fundraiser. But (there is always more), in order to update and expand the site, we require further assistance. If the history of Flin Flon is as meaningful to you as it is to us, please consider donating to the upkeep and expansion of the site. Any and all donations will be gratefully and thankfully accepted. Also most importantly, please consider donating your time.

You can add to our ‘burden’ by providing us more material. There is a huge amount of historical and everyday material out there that is being lost every day. We are trying to preserve all that before it is lost. Please contact us about how you can have your Flin Flon history and stories preserved forever.

Thank you!

Ted Nelson
