Many social, sporting, cultural and community events were organized through the Community Club now known as the Recreation Commission of the city of Flin Flon

Mrs. Lena O'Neal conducted a ballet school for young people for many years

Cubs and Beavers associated with the Scouts and Rovers

Local motorcycle club involved in fundraising for various charities

Girl guides, brownies and other groups were part of the female component of the Baden Powell movement

One of the three main service clubs in Flin Flon - Rotary, Lions and Kinsmen

The Masonic Lodge

The Order of Royal Purple was the female auxiliary of the Elks of Canada.

Along with the Lions and Kinsmen club supported many worthwhile community projects and campaigns

Activities related o organized labour

The Indian and Metis Friendship Centre served as a cultural center and also as a temporary home for people who needed residence in Flin Flon . Often those obtaaining medical treatment or their companions.. The Friendship centre plays an important role in fostering understanding between the cultures.
