City Electrical Services
Power for the city and the mine was generated at Island Falls Saskatchewan on the Churchill River by the HBM&S owned Churchill River Power Company. Churchill River Power then sold power to Northern Manitoba Power which supplied power to the city and surrounding area. In 1973 Manitoba Hydro purchased Northern Manitoba Power from HBM&S
Water and Waste Servicees 1950 to the Present
In 1950 Water and Sewer Services were extended to the whole city. This album contains maaterial related to that and to subsequent events

City Water and Wast 1927 - 1950
Water and Waste, City roads and bridges, Public Works, And Other Services. Until 1950 Sewer and Water Mains only eisted in a small area of the original townside called "Plan 591" in 1950 the Sewer and Water Service was extended to the whole city.
