Tobacco Road (South Hudson) The Halfway (South Main) and squatters not on townsite
The planned townsite changed intended location from uptown to the Willowvale area and back uptown. Many settled on the Saskatchewan side of the border in older buddings along the old Tote Road at the "Halfway". South of the Sask border east of Hapnot Lke (Tobacco Road) and many homes were scattered through the bush West and North of the mine site. A long legal struggle ensued to get these areas properly administered.
