Callinan Point (sometimes called "Pete's Point" "Flin Flon Point"
During the "Establishment " phase of the mine some people, including M. A. Roche built houses there, for a short time after the original owners moved into Company accommodation many people rented the houses, the Campbell family, Walter Evans and others. The houses were removed as the smelter began dumping slag. The Roche house was moved to near Mari Lake for a summer home.
